She is living her life to the fullest and as much as we love her for loving our children as much as she does we love that she is getting so much out of life.

'We tried to prepare Emelie for joining our crazy family; a 13 year old, a 3 month old, a mom who works nights, a dad who runs his own business and 2 dogs, including a bouncy puppy. Almost immediately, we were sad knowing that Emelie would have to leave us one day. She fit right into our adventurous, busy family and loves our children more than we would ever expect anyone to.

Her tattoo may describe Emelie's philosophy best|Live Your Life. She made the decision to come to California and she is taking every advantage of what life here offers. She is always running or hiking, not only for exercise but to explore our surroundings and the beauty of nature. She organizes events with friends she has met here. She is going to Peru in a few months and is already making a list of everything she wants to see and do while in the US including the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone and a ranch in Montana. She has been to college football and basketball games. She cheered on the SF Giants before their National Championship. She went paddle boarding ing in Santa Cruz. This weekend she ran to the Golden Gate Bridge. She never misses an au pair get-together. She has already made plans of what we'll do together when we go visit her in Sweden someday.
