One of those women is Minnesota State Senator and AuPairCare host mom Julia Coleman, who hosted an event for host families and au pairs in March to celebrate her swearing-in as a State Senator.

This year, Au Pair Camy from Ecuador had a challenging and exciting New Year’s resolution: run a half marathon. In January, Camy accomplished that dream by participating in the Chevron Houston Marathon & Aramco Half Marathon race–-a prestigious event annually attended by over 25,000 people.

Vittoria, an au pair from Brazil, accomplished something incredible during the holiday season: she performed in a local production of The Nutcracker! Vittoria is a trained classical dancer and decided to keep up her dancing skills while being an au pair in Kansas.

Hailing from Mexico, Maggie made a big impact on her Minnesota host family from the start, with host mom Sarah sharing "We feel ever-so-fortunate to have met and welcomed Maggie into our home. Maggie is our first au pair, and we were very nervous about finding a good match when we started this process. From the first interview, we knew Maggie was an amazing fit for our family. It was a perfect match, and she has been the most ultimate au pair. We can hardly imagine our lives without her."
