There is no way to explain in words how Bruna has impacted our life. First off, she is a loving au pair to not just one child but to four children and not just four children but four military children of parents who both serve in the United States Air Force. Managing personalities and schedules may be the easiest thing she does on a minute/hourly/daily/monthly basis. Bruna arrived in March 2019 and by 1 May, she helped me pack the car and traveled to Miami with me while I attended formal military training. This allowed me to continue to nurse my 7-month-old.
Upon our return to Virginia she kept up the crazy pace of living with a military family. I was gone in June and July flying senior military officials around the world. Bruna stepped in mom's absence and provided the stability the children needed. In August, my husband attended formal military training and again Bruna's stepped up and was the stability the children needed. Finally and most recently, I have deployed to the Middle East for 6 months and Bruna has stepped up as Mom and gives the kids the love and attention they need while mom is gone for half a year. There is nothing more important than being able to provide children stability when mom or dad are away and Bruna has done just that. We would not be able to do what we do without her and can not see our life without her.
