Quality Childcare and Au Pair Services
AuPairCare au pairs have childcare experience and are pre-screened; providing your family with a safe and reliable childcare solution. We maintain the most stringent admissions requirements of any U.S. au pair agency.
An AuPairCare representative interviews each potential au pair in person. All candidates must pass a psychometric test, as well as a thorough background check. In addition, au pairs must submit childcare references, a personal reference, detailed personal information, medical history, and an essay. Our admissions process is designed to make sure that only the most mature, dedicated, and caring individuals are accepted into the program.
In addition to our strict admissions criteria, all au pairs must meet the following requirements set forth by the U.S. Department of State.
Au Pair Qualifications
All au pairs must:
- Have previous childcare experience and enjoy caring for children
- Have a sincere interest in living with an American family
- Speak conversational English
- Be in good health
- Have a valid driver's license
- Have graduated from a secondary school or equivalent
- Agree to follow all program regulations
