Au Pair Services & Responsibilities
A live-in au pair is so much more than a baby sitter. An au pair provides busy parents with a much needed extra set of hands. All of our au pairs are highly qualified, young adults who love children and are eager to experience life in the United States. Whether caring for infants or helping school-age children with homework, your live-in au pair will become a vital member of your family. As a member of the household, your au pair will provide personalized, in-home child care up to 45 hours per week, up to 10 hours per day. You set your au pair's working hours according to your family's schedule and childcare needs.
Au Pair duties will include childcare and light housekeeping related to childcare such as:
- Getting your children ready for school and packing their lunches
- Driving children to school, appointments and extracurricular activities
- Supervising homework
- Preparing children's meals
- Bathing, dressing and putting children to bed
- Supervising and playing with your children
- Helping to keep children's rooms tidy
- Doing children's laundry
- Assisting with light household duties
Your live-in au pair will also broaden your children's horizons by teaching them about new cultures and traditions. No other type of in-home childcare provides this unique and enriching opportunity in the safety and security of your own home!
