Au Pair Prae, Thailand
Prae is 26 and from Thailand. Prae graduated from university with a major in English for International Communication. She was a Teacher's Assistant at a young learners' computer school where she was responsible for helping children aged from 3 to 8 learn how to have basic computer skills. At the same time she took care of a group of children aged 4 to 6. Once Prae finishes the AuPairCare au pair program she plans to become a kindergarten teacher at home.
Prae was matched with a host family in California and began her experience as an au pair taking care of an 8 month old baby. Here is a snapshot of her life as an au pair:
"All the time that I stay with this family I think I'm a lucky girl. They made me feel like they are my family. Everyday passes so fast for me, because I'm so happy. Especially, with the baby. He is very nice and easy going. I love taking care of him, even on my day off I always play with the kid because he is so cute! My host family always told me that 'today is your day off you don't have to do that but I don't think that' this my work but the baby seems like my younger brother. I fall in love with him now."
